NanoWorld AG appoints Key Account Manager for Semiconductor Applications

In an effort to expand NanoWorld’s presence in the semiconductor industry Dr. Oliver Krause has been named key account manager for semiconductor applications

Dr. Oliver Krause received his M.Sc. in physics and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Erlangen, Germany. Prior to joining NanoWorld AG he worked as a researcher with the Fraunhofer Institute of Integrated Systems and Device Technologies. He focused on modeling and simulation of dopand diffusion in silicon as well as process development for future transistor gate stacks. Due to his semiconductor technology related research topics, he is familiar with a wide range of analytical methods for semiconductor process and device characterization.

Dr. Krause will manage our development projects related to semiconductor demands like high aspect ratio tips and probes for electrical applications. He will stay in touch with our customers’ process development-, metrology- and failure analysis departments to keep AFM tip developments up to the needs of future semiconductor manufacturing requirements. Furthermore he will be in charge of all semiconductor related customer services.
